Self Organization Mesoporous Silica Film (Hydrothermal ). SEMa The TEM and SEM image of the same 2D hexagonal mesostructure. To form a mixed pore structure, ordered mesoporous silica films were prepared with and low ordered mesostructure, were observed in TEM image of the film. Silica mesoporous thin films were deposited via dip coating on silicon and alumina substrates with interdigitated electrodes.

Mesoporous films with Pm3n cubic phase have been obtained and the films have been thermally treated in air with a progressive heating schedule from as-deposited up to 1000 °C. To verify the successful placement of the ruthenium molecule into the silica framework, emission spectra of the complex in mesostructured and amorphous thin films were compared.

Mesostructured photochromic pigments were synthesised by incorporating photochromic dyes in the organic domains of the surfactant templated inorganic/organic mesostructured silica particles.
